heartburn meaning baby will have hair?

So I've been hearing lately that if I don't have heart burn that my child will born bald.. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I haven't had heartburn at least I don't think I have.. really don't know what if feels like. Anyone else didn't have heartburn but still had babies with a head full of hair?

My girl when she was about one month old. She was born so hairy!! I had absolutely zero heartburn.

I had heartburn every single minute of every day with my little man but he was born with zero hairs in his little head 😂 this is him now, 5 months old, still my little baldy!

There actually is some scientific merit to this old wives tale. But there are exceptions to every rule and just because you have heartburn doesn't mean your child won't be bald and just because you don't have any doesn't mean your child won't have a full head of hair.

For me my first daughter I had Alot of heart burn and she had a lot of hair, with my second I didn't she didn't have as much have as my first. And with is one I have some off and on. So I guess everyone is different.

Not true. Sometimes some women get heartburn even with a baby without much hair. Have you had heartburn a lot before pregnancy

In my case this wasn't true my daughter had a head full of hair. I mean FULL.  And I had no type of heart burn. Not once. 😅

It's technically an old wives tale. However, a few studies have linked a certain hormone to  the amount of hair a baby is born with, but not enough to prove it as a fact.
