Tube removal

When I go in for my scheduled cs I have expressed to my ob that I want to be sterilized. For my husband and I this is baby number 4 and we are completely done. Lol. My question is I've heard of tubes being tied, cut and or burned but never having them removed. Has anyone had their tubes removed and if so what are some of the long term effects? I will be speaking with ob more in depth on the 4th but want to be as informed as possible. Thank you in advance.
