Common cold treatment during pregnancy?

Hey there

​I'm very sick :-( I keep sneezing,coughing & I have a sore throat & just achy all over 
​
​When I sneeze or cough my abdominal muscles & my uterus area hurt so bad :-(
​
​I feel like I'm going to sneeze the baby out 
​
​How I can treat this? 
​
​I seen a doctor yesterday & she said do not take any meds during the first 3 months! 
​I usually don't since most of meds aren't vegan,but I'm so sick now & I'm worried about my baby that I'm ready to take meds! I don't want anything to happen to my baby I think all this coughing is going to hurt it :-(

​What can I do to cute this?

Drink green tea with honey. It will sooth your throat. Unfortunately meds are more of a harm to your baby right now so you kinda have to deal with it :( you could ask about maybe taking a half dose of robatusson to help the cough. I know when I got sick in my first pregnancy that's all I could take at 26 weeks but I could do a full dose.  Good luck!!!

My doctor gave me a list of approved medications for various things -- Tylenol is okay :) but if you're really unsure, I usually drink super strong ginger tea when I'm sick and it goes away in a couple days. Feel better!
