Do I need to go to L&D yet?

Ladies my waters definitely started leaking this morning, I am 38+5 I am just having braxton hicks and period like cramps. My question is, do I have to ring and go into L&D or can I wait it out? I don't really want to go in, I had a false alarm at 37 weeks and they wanted me straight in if I thought my waters broke would it still be the same?

I want to wait it out as long as possible at home if I can

Once the water breaks there isn't waiting, baby can get an infection with open water

Once your water breaks, you need to go in. Doctors usually like you to go deliver within 24 hours. You need to go ahead and go.

If your water is leaking you should go in. If baby is not born within 24 hours it could cause infection.
