*Possible Trigger* deals with sexual abuse
Say you have an older kid and a younger kid. The older kid (A) is old enough to know right from wrong ( so like 14 ). Your younger child (B) is at the age to know that someone touching them inappropriately is wrong, but is a little confused about it ( about 6 or 7 ).
B comes to you one day and tells you that A has been touching them in their private areas and making them touch them back. They are obviously upset and affected by it, and have seemed a little off the past couple of months.
How do you handle it?
Also, I'm asking this because it's a situation that seems to happen a lot and I'd like to see the reactions that parents and others would have to this. It's a situation I was in as a child but I never told my parents.
