Where does your baby sleep!

Question

I currently have been co-sleeping with my son who is 6 weeks old. I made this mistake with my daughter who is currently 2 so I definitely don't want to continue co-sleeping but he won't stay asleep when I put him down! I have bought an arms reach co-sleeper and have been attempting it but it seems like he sleeps best when he's on my chest. I also tried a rock n play and pack n play with bassinet. Any suggestions to get him sleeping in the co-sleeper by himself? Thanks. (And yes I know co-sleeping is not recommended)

I have the same story here. Got the best gliding bassinet, auto rocker, crib, pram, and a co-sleeper bassinet that attaches to the side of the bed. But my baby only sleeps on my breast in our bed. Period. It was the same with our older boy, but it starting getting better around 3+ months and he was on his own in a crib in a separate room by 4.5 months. I say go with it, give it time... :)

Baby sleeps in my bed. Sometimes I worry I'm doing something wrong but I can't imagine having her sleep away from me.

My baby is 6 weeks and for a while would only sleep with me. Then I found that he would sleep in the swing when he was real little but now he likes to stretch out so he doesn't care for the swing anymore. After watching him cry in the bassinet one night because I wasn't sure what to do, I pick him up and laid him on my bed, he immediately calmed and started to doze off. That's when I realized, the bassinet was just way too hard for him. So the next day I went out and bought a cosleeping bassinet and he sleeps much better in it!!!! I even bring it downstairs for his naps! It's nice and soft and cushiony. He can move his head from side to side, he can roll much easier in it (he flip flops from his back to his side). I would definitely recommend it. My baby is long too so this was one of the longest I could find. It's the Lulyboo Baby lounge Premium.

Same story with my little man during the first few weeks! We ended up splurging on a Dock-A-Tot (seems overpriced at $160 but worth every penny) and laying him in that swaddled (Miracle Blanket is the only thing that works for us!) with a sound machine playing white noise has become our sanity saving combo! We put the Dock in the bassinet part of a pack n play in our room and hope to transition him to his own room/crib (minus the dock) around 3 months. Good luck I know it's soooo hard!

I'm having the same troubles with my 8 week old son. I have the Dock a tot in the bed with us and he stays in it most nights but he will NOT be put down for naps. The longest he'll sleep on his own is 30 minutes. Then he wakes up screaming, wanting to be held. I'm hoping to start sleep training closer to 4 months but I want him in the bassinet in my room until closer to 6 months. All the things I've read have been about sleep training the baby in his own room. Any suggestions?

We moved our 9 week old son to his crib 2 nights ago.  He had been in a rock and play.  We did move his rock and play into his room at about 4 weeks.  I'm a super  light sleeper- so every little noise he made woke me up.  His room is right across the hall from ours and we keep the doors open.

Mix of bassinet and with me in my bed. Mostly for the convenience factor (I'm trying to regain my milk supply and am a single mother) and the bonding factor.
