anyone else not desperately impatient to meet baby?

I'm 28w now and I feel like one of the few on these boards that's not counting down the weeks til the little one comes. It's starting to really hit just how much I have to do before he's born (moving in with fiancé, setting everything up, figuring out what we still need to buy), and how little I know about caring for a baby.

Plus, I've had a really easy pregnancy so far where I never was super sick, I was able to work out regularly, I traveled a bunch, and I have a super cute bump that still fits in non maternity clothes. I'm not so uncomfortable that I can't wait for it to be over and am really enjoying the changes in my body.

Can anyone else relate to any of this?

i'm 28w and perfectly content right now to wait til she's full term. we have a lot to do and I have a lot to finish at work before mat leave (a year here in Canada). besides I just started feeling her move and kick strongly in the last week or so. happy to enjoy that for a little while longer :) so I relate exactly. I was just saying to my husband last night that I must be the only person on this board  not dying of impatience to meet their baby right now!

I'm 50/50. I don't want to rush him getting here because everyone keeps talking about how they are going to hold him, kidnap him, babysit him and kiss him and all kinds of stuff and when I say I don't want people kissing or babysitting him ( at first) they get all mad and crap. But it's my baby and I'm trying to protect him. 
On the other hand I'm ready to quit working I only have 7 weeks left before I quit so I'm trying to rush threw that then I just want time to stop.. 
I'm an emotional roller coaster and seriously one minute will be crying about how 12 weeks is still so far away then the next crying about how I don't want him to come cause he's safer where he is then I cry about quitting my job then I cry cause I want to quit.  I don't even understand myself anymore. I do not know how my husband keeps up honestly.  Lol. 😫😂

I completely understand! I have so much to do before my little princess arrives but I'm ready to meet her. It feels as though she's getting stronger everyday and her kicks, flips and turns are not easy take these days, but I'll do almost anything to let her fully "bake". Sigh ~le struggle 😫

I'm 28w too and a ftm and while I am super excited to meet my little boy, I'm content with waiting another 12w. Still a good amount to do, and who knows when I'll be pregnant again. I think once everything is set and all we are doing is waiting for his arrival will be when I get impatient!

I'm the same way ! I agree it's likely because I have had an easy pregnancy as well. I could see wishing it away if you were very uncomfortable or sick all the time ! I'm honestly loving being pregnant and I also have a lot to do still so I'm in no rush! I'm sure as I get further along I'll start getting more impatient

I'm ready to meet her,  but I'm patient.... most of the time. Lol  I , like you, still have some things to do before she gets here. I also realize that once she gets Here, our lives are going to change forever and that's exciting/ terrifying.
