do you use a night light?

I currently have a night light in my sons room but I feel like it keeps him up sometimes. When I am rocking him to sleep at night he will just stare at it and fight going to sleep. Does anyone have their kids room completely dark? If so, do you think it bothers your kid?

We have a motion sensing night light. It will only go on when you move so i out it right by the rocking chair where I feed her so I don't need to turn on the light and it will go off automatically so it doesn't keep her awake. You can order a whole set of them on Amazon fairly cheaply and they work great!

We have one so I can see when I go in there, his room is a friggin mess. It was a gift but it's really bright so I'm hoping we'll sort his room out soon and get rid of it. He doesn't seem to care either way though.

We have one that turns on when their is a noise. It helps with diaper changes and check ins during the night but doesn't keep our little one awake.

My son sleeps in the dark just fine. Night lights kept him up.

My daughter needs hers to fall asleep and it goes off after 1 hour. It's a little unicorn! Lol
