NEW YEARS BABY 😍
Actually had him ON his due date! 
Lost my mucous plug on the 31st around 2pm.
Contractions got questionable around 6.
Told my family about my concerns of backpain around 8.
Got to the hospital at 10.
I was put in my labor room at about 2am.
They told me he was face up & I was having back labor. So until about 7am, I was focused on turning him the right way so I could meet him.
7:30am, my doctor went to see if I had dilated anymore. He said "6 centimeters now!" & I felt a POP. MUCH like a water ballon but it doesn't hurt. Suddenly a warm gush of fluid was surrounding my entire bottom. He accidentally broke my water. Little one had passed meconium while still in the womb.
I made it to 8cm with back labor before my mother asked if I had time for an epidural since I was screaming & had the urge to push. I was determined not to have the epidural at all, but my god. I was SO happy she asked. It was then or never & I needed it. Badly.
I was even able to take a 20 minute nap at 10cm before I had to start pushing at 12pm.
Bodhi Scott made his arrival at 1:49pm on New Years Day, weighing 8lbs 15oz & 20in. 💙
