Question? T-dap shot

So, i havent decided after the baby is born and all if i want the T-dap shot or not? I've gone through my whole pregnancy without any shots and im healthy and great, so is baby.

Should I get the shot after my baby is born or no?

You get the shot to protect your baby.

Even if you had Irish twins (2 kids in one year) you'd still get the shot twice.

Google whooping cough and what it does to babies and then decide. Many children die from it.

I got it in pregnancy because I didn't want my baby to die from whooping cough. Your choice though. But if you hadn't had it I wouldn't have let you near my baby

After lots of research I personally decided to refuse to flu shot but said yes to the t-dap shot. I'm not against vaccines, I just do my research before getting them. And from my own research, t-dap while
pregnant is VERY safe for baby.

Whooping cough can happen any time of year. You and your daughter haven't had it, but who's to say one or all of you won't come in to contact with a carrier of it?

I caught whooping cough in the dead of summer in Florida when mine lapsed. You better believe I'll be getting the shot whenever is recommended by my doctor.

However this is one shot I will get. I live in WI and whooping cough is no joke here.

I would personally get the shot now while your pregnant before baby is here, so he/she's protected from it by their own mother right from birth. I got mine and am very happy I did! My arm was a tiny bit sore that day from the injection but it's so worth it knowing my baby won't be getting whooping cough because of me.
