I got my mirena IUD on the 13th of December and I've been able to feel my strings the first couple of days but now I do not find my strings and I'm super crampy what could it mean??? New to the IUD

Could be the strings have curled up around your cervix. This is a normal position for them.

Check again in a few days.

The best way to find them is to squat on the ground, insert your longest finger and feel for your cervix. You should be able to find the strings this way. Because your IUD is so new, the strings will be obvious.
