Is it worth it to have a bassinet?

Depends on the kind of sleeping arrangement you are planning :) I personally had a co sleeper and it was so amazing I could just pull my baby over to me to nurse and he had his own space. The one I used had an attachment to you could use it as a stand alone sleeper as well :) he slept in a pack n play when he we big enough to crawl up and out. (We had a small cabin) This baby will use the co sleeper as well but we are getting a mini crib we plan to have the new baby sleeping in his/her own room earlier than baby number one did 🙈 now that we bought a house. We have the arms reach cosleeper we bought from someone on Facebook I jut bought another one for my sister I love it so much ❤️

Answer

We just use a pack and play with the bassinet attachment (most come with them now). No sense in buying another prince of bulky furniture.
