My sons clothes are almost exclusively hand me downs. They're clean, warm, and he doesn't care lol

Literally like, 99% of the clothes my daughter has are hand me downs. We have bought her 5 outfits and that's it. Everything else came from others

The majority of my little girls clothes are pre owned. As long as they're clean and in good shape I see nothing wrong with it. Babies grow out of clothes so fast, most used clothes only get worn a few times anyway.

Except for like 6 outfits and two. Landers, everything in his closet are hand me downs from a friend of mine, my niece's gender neutral, and my two Godson's nicer clothes.  This is ONLY 3 months and 6 months. 
 
While I will buy a few outfits, babies grow so darned fast, that buying a huge wardrove is just expensive for essentially one time use.
 
But to each their own.

This is our first child after 2 losses, we wanted the whole shebang of getting him new stuff. These will be saved for his future siblings.

Me personally I have no issue with it but with it being my first child I rather have brand new clothes . But if you want to save money hand be down does help
