Gush of clear fluid ?

Okay so should i be concerned ? I am 6 months pregnant and getting out of the shower otw to my bedroom there was this gush of clear fluid. It has kind of a sweet smell to it. I have an appointment monday but do i need to go in now or what? I'm 17 and a ftm thanks in advance.

You need to go in now. Do not wait. If your water broke they need to give you steroids for baby and magnesium for neurological protection and antibiotics. Amniotic fluid does have a smell. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Amniotic fluid doesn't have a smell to it. But I would definitely call your on call doctor and ask what you should do. I. Would get checked just to be safe as I experienced something similar during my 2nd pregnancy and it turned out to be something serious that showed it's ugly face 2 days later. Needless to say I had my baby at just 29weeks. He's now an 8 year old happy energetic little boy 💙 good luck

My water broke at 34 weeks. Best to call your doc now and/or get checked out at the hospital.

I would call l&d and get advice. Just in case you have a leak in amniotic fluid you may need to get checked ASAP
