Almost Ready!
I'm almost exactly three weeks from my due date (18days!) and we finally got about half the nursery set up! Unpictured is a swing in the corner behind me as I took the pictures, and I'm waiting on some pretty orange gauzy curtains that were bought for me as a shower gift, but I am so excited to put my little one down for sleep in this space! My husband repainted the whole room by himself, and I placed all the gold dots and rigged the kimono sash to stay around the crib (it is below the top of the mattress and is therefore safe to have wrapped around the crib, don't worry)!
The nursery is Japanese themed- my husband is actually fluent in Japanese, lived there during college for study abroad, and the kimono sash seemed a perfect centerpiece. The painting with Isaiah's name (done by me!) has little lanterns with the Japanese kanji for "family," "love," and other important words. The "s" on it is actually a dragon.
