Birthday Ideas?

You know you are getting old when you google "what to do on your birthday" Any ideas on what to do? Thank you

I like to do different things for my bday. I hate that everyone's idea is drinking. Here are a few: ice skating, paintball, karaoke, Dave & Busters, pool hall, strip club, mechanical bull riding, poll classes, strip tease classes...just to name a few. I'm about to turn 33. Time to get the wheels turning again. Have fun ladies!

We have four children so my husband's and my birthdays are family/child focused. Eg a movie night at home, a picnic at our favourite park, baking yummy cookies or a birthday cake, playing minecraft as a family (the kids absolutely LOVE this one! Haha!), playing jackbox.tv games (also hilarious!), going to our local airport to watch the planes take off and come in - this is especially good at night and sparks fun conversations about where we would love to go one day.
Also, there's a huge ferry boat that takes cars and passengers which docks in the river near our home. We sometimes take a picnic dinner, play at the park and watch the boat arrive or depart. Again, we like to share our dreams of where we want to go one day.
That's just a few ideas to get you started. They might not be applicable to you but it goes to show that the simple things can be just as memorable and as special as spending lots of money or doing something fancy. And there's nothing wrong with fancy or spending money!! It's just that not everyone has spare $ and might feel they are better off forgetting their birthday altogether. 
Anyway, enough of my blah blah blahing!!!
