This is just something a friend and I had a debate about, and it's not about me, but I know things can be misinterpreted, and id rather just not take the chance so I'm posting anon. So, let's say there's a married woman, and she's having an affair, (I know it's wrong but it happens,) and her husband doesn't know. If the other man knows that she's married and continues the affair anyway, would he be considered a cheater if he's technically single anyway? I argued that he would be because he's knowingly laying downing with another mans wife. My friend said "no" because he's single and doesn't have anyone to "cheat" on.
