Where's my restaurant servers?

New to serving starting next week, and I need some tips/advice with serving trays, balance and other skills.

I been in restaurants for over 10 years...  Please please take this advice... Always pay attention to the woman..  look at the woman more.. don't be a bitch to the man by any means but don't be all smilies in his face..  when asking if everything is going OK , any napkins, more to drink always look and speak to the woman... You'll. make.more... Plain and simple most women have the say so on the tip.. if she's respected she'll pay up.  And always ask if anyone wants to go cups. Bonus before the check. And don't rush on them making their minds.

It's nerve wracking starting out but it all comes easier with time! You'll soon be looking back and laughing, there's nothing to worry about you will rock it!!

The customer is always right, smile a lot, and bring plenty of refills. I was a server for 6 years and really the only way to get good at it is to suck at it for the first few months. And there will always be those customers that just can't be pleased lol
