Can you fall asleep breasting?

I bed share with my daughter. When I nurse her at night I can't just fall asleep while she's nursing. Am I alone? It's not that I don't want to fall asleep. There's just some reason I can't.

I even fall sleep nursing sitting up haha

I never could sleep in the beginning but once I was doing it for a while I would fall asleep feeding him in the rocker in his room or when I was desperate and brought him to our bed I would fall asleep next to him.
