No birth control for me! I know that's not an option for everyone but I definitely don't believe in adding fake hormones into my body. I don't believe in taking medicine regardless unless really needed. I just track my period with this app and use condoms when I'm ovulating. It has worked for me for 5 years!

Well do you mean condoms? If so, it's an equal responsibility to make sure you have them unless already discussed. If a woman is taking birth control, she is responsible for it. Of course the partner could pick up a prescription for her, but they're not really capable of getting the iud or implant inserted and such

I think it's different for every relationship. I had some side effects with Mirena so we used condoms for about a year and then we fell into some finical trouble so I got on depo because having a baby now would be devastating. It's going pretty well with the new method but It's equally our responsibility to make sure we have protected sex.

Both should be using protection. Whether is the boyfriend reminding his girlfriend to take her pill or the girlfriend bringing condoms, either way they should both care about staying safe (unless they want a baby)

When I was on birth control I got it for free. So my bf and I would split or take turns buying the condoms. But if I had to pay I would pay for the birth control and have him pay for the condoms. Right now since I'm off the birth control we still take turns or split it when buying condoms.

Condoms is who ever. Easily readily available to anyone. Pills, patches, IUD, etc I think it's up to the woman to take care of that. My insurance covers my pills so I mean I don't pay up front but even if I did, I feel that it's a pill I am taking so therefore I need to be responsible for it. If he takes a pill for his manly parts, I wouldn't want to have to pay every month for that since I'm not the one taking the pill. I understand where the argument could come in but it's simply my opinion. My boyfriend is very good at helping me with it (going to pick up my prescription, making sure I don't forget, getting it for me from my purse if I'm driving or busy doing something, etc) but as for paying? I am responsible for that.
