Help.. Financial Aid Appeal

OK you guys I found out today that I'm not able to get financial aid but I can appeal it. The reason is because I fail my classes because my dad got sick, but kept pushing me to go to school and I couldn't focus. So I try to take care of him while I was in school and I fell way behind. He passed away and I fell into a depression and gave up.

Now it's a new semester and I want to finish school for him and do good. That's all I want. But I need financial aid, because he was paying.

She said to include an obituary because we don't have a death certificate.
