My sister is supposed to be about 7-8 weeks pregnant but has been crampy and spotting a little more each day for the last four days. She's 35 and already has a 3 year old. She went to the doc yesterday and they saw a little peanut on the transvaginal ultrasound. It was the same doc who confirmed her pregnancy around Christmas Day via a blood test. The doc says the baby is small and my sister is either more like 5 weeks pregnant or it stopped growing and she will miscarry. She's awaiting results today that would show whether or not some levels (sorry I don't know what) have grown or not to support the fact that she's pregnant and just more like 5 weeks. She's very upset as her spotting has increased today and I was curious if anyone has been through the same thing and had a successful pregnancy? Or not. Thanks ahead of time.
