IUD, once it's inserted, you  don't have to think about it for years.

That being said, it isn't for everyone. If you're planning on TTC in the next year or two, or if you have multiple partners, other options are better.

Iud has the highest. It is also the easiest, in a way. You have it put in and forget about it 2-5 years down the road. Insertion can be very uncomfortable though, but the reward is worth it. Pills have to be taken every day, the shot can have severe side effects for many women, and the patch needs to be replaced once a week and is reported to be a nuisance by some women. I recommend the iud for low maintenance.
