Quite honestly i think it is legitimate to be upset if you think masterbation is being used as a replacement or substitution for intimacy,  it happens.
 
However ** if your partner masterbates AND still shows you affection, satisfies you and has sex with you then I don't see how there should be a problem.

It's actually healthy to masturbate. Scientifically proven as part of sexuality. It's not a bad thing. Anyone who tries to control their spouses masturbation is not only wrong, but even abusive. I don't tell my husband when he's allowed to touch his own body. If masturbation is done in a way that it doesn't impact sex life, and isn't excessive, than it shouldn't be controlled.
