Anyone exercise during pregnancy?

Question

I heard that your labor will be hard if you don't do some kind of work out like walking or something . How true is this?  Because Im a first time mom and I have not done nothing and I'm afraid I will have a long hard labor.

Exercise is good for you, there's no way to prove that your labor would have been easier or harder but it definitely has shown to decrease recovery time. I exercise daily at least A little.

I'm working out because I feel better as a result, and labor is so physical it can only be beneficial to have the best fitness possible.

I've got a friend with two children who compared labor and childbirth to a marathon. Intense, you'll have moments when you think you can't finish, but there's a clear finish line. For that reason I'm also glad I've worked out because I know that feeling of being under physical stress and pushing through mentally anyway.

I worked out about 5-6 times a week. I was in labor for over 26 hours. My baby's head was positioned a little sideways and that's why I wasn't progressing. I think working out all the time made my pregnancy way easier though.

I never exercised aside from walking during regular activities. Labor wasn't "hard" and neither was my second.

I exercised a lot with my first and it didn't make anything easier. Maybe it helped my pushing time but I can't really say it was that. I didn't really exercise with my second and he basically slid out and was a lot easier labor than his sister lol! Recovery time was a lot shorter with him too.
