Sad I didn't have a dad growing up.

Was raised by my mom, I'm 18 now. My dad f'd off when I was 1. I get so jealous when I see pictures of girls with both of their parents. And it makes me sad that I don't have one who could've talked to me about boys and given me advice etc

I mean I appreciate everything my mom has done but I still feel like that little girl who wants a dad and have one to walk me down the aisle when I get married. 😞 I have 6 siblings (I'm the 4th) and my mom isn't really affectionate.

Has anyone who was raised by a single parent ever felt like this? Any advice/tips?
