Weird anatomy scan...

Ch
Before we got started the tech explained she is not allowed to tell us results/signs of problems/abnormalities, she can only explain what we're looking at and then a specialist will review and our doctor will go over the results with us. First thing when she put the transducer on my belly, she says "are you in pain on your left side?" I reply no. After about 2 minutes of measuring and taking pictures of something (that even my inexperienced eye could tell you is not a baby), I asked if she could tell me what it was she was looking at. She said "I can't confirm what kind or why, but if I had to guess it's a fluid filled cyst on your ovary, or it is your ovary filled with fluid." It measured 19 cm (~7 inches). Other than that, thankfully, based off her noises and facial expressions and the fact that she found every part and piece she was looking for, baby seems good. Appropriately sized and what not. After the appointment my husband and I recalled our first scan at 12 weeks and the first thing my doctor said was do you have a full bladder? And she was using her transducer on the same side my left side and looked puzzled. I didn't have a full bladder. So I'm thinking it's been there and she saw it but didn't look into it. But not knowing what that thing is is killing me. Of course I googled it and surprisingly it didn't freak me out to much. But most if not all options led to guaranteed c section or surgery before birth to have it removed. That is if it's a cyst, i haven't even gotten started on fluid filled ovary googles yet. Does anyone have a similar experience? 😥
