Will a sex toy ruin our sex life?

OK so I've always been pro sex toy and mixing it up! My husband has always been kind of reserved... anyways I was told today at the OBGYN (were expecting baby number 2) that we can't have sex for the next 9 weeks 😣😯. I know I'd be OK but I think about his needs and want him to be happy. Anyways I was looking to get him a fleshlight or something along the lines of that and me a small vibrator (no internal) so we can still have fun together.
