Otteroo and products like it?

Question

For those that do not know this is an otteroo. 
There are several different versions of this on the market I've read lots of reviews/blogs of them. And there all about 50/50 of people loving them and people who claim it's child abuse. What are yalls opinions on these products?

They were originally made to help with physical therapy. They are perfectly safe, and most babies/kids who use them, absolutely love them. I will use one knowing they are safe. It's not child abuse in any way.

I plan on putting my little girl in swim classes here soon. But people freak out about anything, it wouldn't be on the market if it was killing babies, it is perfectly safe, I had planned on getting one and just forgot. If you wouldn't use it fine don't, but to call child abuse is pathetic

Uhh im pretty skeptical. They have the right idea but im scared shitless it will choke my kid. But i also havent really looked into it too much so it could be perfectly safe, idk. And my baby isnt due until july so well see how i feel after that 😂😂

That kind of freaks me out and seems unnecessary. Mine are both happy staying in our arms while swimming.
