I have a Question about ovluation

I have a little bit of an odd question, I recently learned that I ovulate right before my period, last month I ovulated and was at my Peak day two days before my period, Well I had sex on both those days, I had a period for 3 days, I'm wondering if I still could have gotten pregnant and had a small period or if the period would Kind of wash away the egg and sperm? I know this is odd lol
