Any ladies on Clomid this cycle?

Question

​Just curious to see if there's anyone here using Clomid this cycle. Using Clomid can be an extremely stressful time, especially if you don't ovulate on your own.. So I thought a support group would be really good :)

​I've been TTC for 2 years and have PCOS as well as a Bicornuate Uterus. I started my first round of Clomid 50mg this cycle, CD 5-9. I'm CD 18 now and using Glow, FertilityFriend and OvuFriend as my charts.  
​
​Both FertilityFriend and OvuFriend are saying I ovulated on CD 15, so I should be 3 DPO right now. Hopefully my progesterone test confirms it :)

I stopped using my fertility monitor because it's not picking up ovulation.  Bought some clear blue ovulation tests and here's the results from Sunday, yesterday and this morning.  :)​

Good luck! I am not taking Clomid, but my brother and his wife ttc for 16 months without success, and conceived on their second cycle using Clomid. They now are the proud parents of 18 month old triplets!

I'm on Clomid and metformin on this cycle my 5th cycle but now on 100mg of Clomid AF is due next Saturday hoping she doesn't show up I have PCOS didn't have cycles at all before Clomid got one more cycle then starting the process of IVF :( x good luck to you all and hopefully this is our time xx

I don't have any advice that I know would work since I haven't conceived yet.. But personally my man and I have sex everyday.

My OBGYN said it takes 24 hours for the sperm count to completely regenerate, so as long as you have sex around the same time everyday, you'll be fine. Doing it everyday makes sure that I don't miss ovulation.. Especially since this will be the first time I've ovulated on my own lol.

Also try putting your legs up to your chest for 20 minutes after, it keeps "stuff" from falling out and gravity can help move it along.

Also try using the chart FertilityFriend as well. Input all your old temps into it. It will detect when you ovulated and a pattern from precious charts so you can better predict when the egg is coming.

Thanks for the advice about the preseed I have heard reports of it but I think I am going to give this month my all, trying everything I can!!

I was getting regular cycles before clomid but had been told that doesn't necessarily mean I ovulated so I was given clomid and I was monitored with an ultrasound and bloods at the start to ensure that I was ovulating but I still haven't conceived.

I got very bad headaches with the clomid but had been told that was normal and I just tried to drink more water, they soon passed. Have you any other tips for this month?! As I'm sure you know when trying for such a long time it's hard to try and not get stressed about things. I was thinking of following the sperm meets egg plan rather than every second day bd.... I'll try anything at this stage!! :)

Yeah this is my first cycle. My side effects weren't too bad since I only had them during the days I was taking Clomid and a few days after.

I was extremely dizzy and nauseous, but the nausea may have been caused by the dizziness.

Around the time my charts said I ovulated, I was having pinching pains on what I think is my right ovary.. And ever since I've ovulated I've been bloated, gassy and had a few skin break outs which I never get.

I really hope this round works for you. Are you ovulating but not conceiving? Or is ovulation not happening? I read that after 3 rounds of Clomid it can really start to effect your CM.. Making it hostile to sperm. I'd recommend trying PreSeed or another sperm friendly lube to make the path to your uterus and easy one :)

I also have PCOS and have been trying for two years with no luck. I had been taking 50mg of clomid cd2-6 for 5 cycles and I have one more to take. I was getting down about it not working so I took a break for a couple of months and I had a normal cycles which is great!! But I am almost due for af and don't think this month is our month. 
I will be starting to take my last round of clomid from this week when af shows her face. I'm worried that if this doesn't work then I'm on to IUI's which I don't like the idea of. 
Have you only started taking clomid? Did u have any side effects?
