Here's a controversy I've been seeing a lot. Tax returns!!!

Do you think people that receive the EIC and child tax credit are taking handouts?? I recently got into a heated discussion about this. Since me and my husband have 3 kids and earn less than 55,000 a year we get a pretty big return because of the EIC and child tax credit. I was told I'm expecting all of you tax payers to support me and give me thousands of dollars I did not pay into. But hey all we do is enter our information and it gives us a return! What am I supposed to do? Not file my taxes?! Lol I told her to talk to Congress about it if she has a problem. 💁
