what should I do about my sex life?

Ok so I'm 19.  My best friends are VERY religious and Christian but I wouldn't say I'm religious... anyway my best friends keep telling me I should save my virginity till marriage but my sister and cousins like to hoe around and go on dick missions.  My cousins tell me if I want I should sleep with anyone I want now while I'm young and have even tried to set me up with cute guys at parties (the guys are nice and there's never a rapey vibe).  I've given head before and I defientely won't wait till marriage before I do the deed.  My friends know and say I should at least wait until I love someone but I'm not sure if I believe in love but I also don't think I want to fuck just anyone I think is hot.  What should I do?? I don't want to wait but I also don't want to rush?...

The problem is that everyone is telling you what to do and how to do it. The last thing you need now is a bunch of contradictory answers from strangers to mess up your mind even more.

First thing first: it is you body, not anybody else's.
You should simply feel ready to lose it. That's how you know when you should. You don't have to wait for the love of your life, unless of course you wanted.

You have to relax and think about what YOU want, not what everybody else Is telling you to want.

If you want to sleep around then do it, if you don't want then don't, is as simple as that.

Try to get in touch with your desires and emotions and you'll be rewarded.

tbh sex is different and means different things to different people. for a lot of people, like your friends, the right thing is for it to be a very intimate act with a person you love. and that's great!! for others, like your sister and cousin, it's much less intimate and more abt enjoying or indulging in sex than having it with someone you feel strongly for. and that's okay too!! neither is more right or wrong than the other. your not better or worse than anyone for going one way or the other. 🙂😊

the best way is to sit down and do some deep thinking, honestly. you already know you don't want to wait until marriage-- so the next step is, "do I want to wait until I'm in a relationship?" "does it matter to me if I know the person?" followed by stuff like "do I want sex bc I'm interested or bc I feel obligated to, or pressured?" "do I have access to contraceptives, birth control, etc-- can I keep myself safe?"

it all comes down to what you want and how you feel!! dont let anyone else tell you otherwise or pressure you into something that isn't right. it might take some soul-searching, but you'll figure it out in the end. 😁

I lost my virginity to a guy I barely knew sophomore year of college. We had sex twice and then he moved on to the next girl. I always regretted it and felt so dirty for just giving it up for him. I'm not religious at all.

But now that I'm with my boyfriend. I was the one that had sex with him when he lost his virginity and I can't tell you how much I wish I would have just waited to have my first time with him.

I would wait until you feel the person is special enough or you love them. You won't get as hurt

Forget what anyone has ever told you. RESPECT YOURSELF. Your BODY. Im 18 and have been with the same guy for nearly 3 years. The fact that you dont believe in love is saddening to me. Sex isnt something that should be casually thought about or done. Its sacred. You're literally giving up your body. If you dont respect yourself enough to KNOW that waiting till you know it is right, I promise you no guy will respect you either. Dont be that girl. Be smart. Be better than your cousins and friends. Whats cool isnt always right and whats right isnt always cool.
