Anyone else dealing with infant loss?

I feel like the only one here who had an infant loss.

I lost my son 42 minutes after he was born full term. You are not alone, it's just a taboo topic and most don't even know how to talk about it.  I'm getting a bit worried as I am getting ready to announce and show with my second child (for more reasons than one and a question I never look forward to is "is this your first?" I never deny Henry's existence and always say "no." But then the next question- how old is your first? Then the story of his short life, and the look. I often find myself consoling them and saying "it's ok, it's part of my life and our story."

I have been using his name and dropping him into many of my conversations lately and you can see it makes some people uncomfortable. But what makes me uncomfortable is acting like he never existed. Even though I only got to hold him in my arms for a brief time he's forever changed my life and I carry him in my heart always.

Obviously I'm worried about this peanut. I'm almost 11 weeks and have only have about 2 freak outs which isn't bad in my book! I just don't know how or if I should look forward to things, or hope or dream as I was crushed after Henry's loss. I'm trying to navigate through this life and my feelings and emotions.

I'm here with my story and my loss if you want to share I'm around. A parent should never have to outlive their child, it's not the order of things but here we are.

I lost my baby girl due to SIDS at 7 weeks old. It was the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life.
I've also had a miscarriage the year before; and she was the rainbow 2 months later.
I am now 30 weeks, and I just feel really scared throughout this pregnancy; and I don't think I will feel any kind of safeness until he'll be past 7 weeks, and probably more.

You're not alone.I too lost my beautiful daughter Chloe at 22w5d due to incompetence cervix. I went into premature labor after having an emergency cerclage done she lived for 90 minutes. My DF and I held her until she passed. It was the hardest thing I ever went through in my entire life. We are so heartbroken and miss her every day. Now 5w2d i'm just trying to stay positive relax and not stress myself crazy.

Your not the only one Hun. Like said below many people just don't know how to talk about it because it is a very hard subject. We recently just lost our little angel at 13 weeks and I went into labor last night with him or her. It was dragged on for many weeks and my story is long as to what happened. If you need to talk to any one of us to grieve or just let it out, there are many lovely people on here to share that with. I personally liked being able to talk to the women here because they were helpful and just amazing to talk to.

Your not alone sweety i was due May 9, 2014 but ended up having an emergency ultrasound because the doctor couldnt find a heart beat. I had to deliver him and it was the hardest thing ive ever had to do. he was born on December 5, 2013 anf weighed just 2 oz. I didnt even know i was having a boy till i delivered him. Its been over a year since i had him and today i found out im pregnant. We named our son Jaceon ❤🌈

We lost our daughter after 26 days of life last April. She was born premature at 30 weeks and was in the NICU the whole time. Though she was early and remained in the hospital her death came very suddenly and shocked us all. I am currently 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant now and terrified.

Our daughter died in my arms at 6 1/2 days old on the 16.01.15 She was 3 months premature. She was very strong and advanced we were told we would be able to take her to our home hospital in 2 weeks but then she had 6 grade 4 brain bleeds and we decided to take her out of intensive care. Her body was fine but her brain was so damaged and seemed to be getting worse. She lived 44 hours with no assistance. Her name was hazel and she was our first baby :'( . Your not alone just people don't seem to talk about it much. No parent should outlive their child :(. But they will be forever in our minds and our hearts <3

Oh babe you are not alone. I lost my beautiful Little girl at 36 weeks due to an placental abruption on June 5, 2014 😞 my heart has been completely broken.. I am currently 15 weeks pregnant but I still miss her so much. So no you are not alone. There are so many of us! And unfortunately we have to stick together because no one else understands us! We lost our son to still birth at 20 weeks. It took me a while to open up and talk about it. They pain never goes away but it's helps to talk. I still don't know how to answer people when they ask if this is my first pregnancy cause I don't want to deny my son but some days it's easier just to say yes.
