Mosquito bites

I live in Oahu Honolulu as a military wife and have only been here for about 9 months. The mosquitoes here love me while being pregnant apparently. Any other mammas visit or live here in Hawaii and have had this problem? Should I be concerned about getting bit? 27 weeks
