Where should I go to college ?

So far I've been struggling with whether or not I wanna go away to college.All my family live here including my bf and if I go away I may not be able to see them often.I wanna go away for the experience of living on campus but I can live on campus closer to home.Im just not sure on what I should do.Any help ladies. P.s. I live in brooklyn,ny

I go to buff state nd a lot of people are from the city. Some go home on the weekends nd some go home for breaks. It's how much you have to visit. Go somewhere you are comfortable, I live in Fredonia but go to buffalo just because I want to experience on my own with school. Not be be needy with the parents. Talk to your family though

My sister went to SUNY Geneseo and loved it there! It's a great school. If I had to choose again I think I might have chosen it. I ended up going to UMass Amherst but I think a smaller school would have been a better fit for me. Geneseo is about 5,000 whereas UMass is about 15,000-20,000.

I'd look at the program that your interested in. See if it's worth the investment and the distance.

The easy path isn't always the greatest, just remember that.
