Thoughts on leasing a car?

I'm thinking about it and dont know the pros/cons???

Pros: lower monthly payments, if there is a problem the dealership will fix it - not you, the least contract only lasts a couple years so you can get a brand new car every couple years.

Cons: you don't actually own the car - it belongs to the dealership not you, you don't get to customize the car - like you can't paint it, you can't change the interior, you can't put in a new stereo, you can't change ANYTHING without the dealers permission (and you would pay for it), if you go over the miles agreed upon inn the contract then you have to pay a pretty hefty sum (so leasing is better for people who don't drive long distances, and worse for people that do)
