Successful IUI?

Question

Has anyone struggling to conceive had a successful intrauterine insemination? My DH and I are starting to review some options after 1 year TTC. Would love to hear about your experience with IUI! Thanks! ☺

Had my first one this cycle and my bfp was confirmed today :)

It was super easy and left no room for error - my DH has low motility and I took clomid which made my cm acidic, so this was essentially our only option.

I have a good friend who took 3 years and ultimately 2 rounds of ivf to have their child. The first year was the old fashioned way, then rounds and rounds of tests later they discovered nothing was "wrong" her eggs were just old. So they tried clomid and then an injected fertility med (I don't recall the name) and then iui, all of those failed so they moved onto ivf. The first round failed and the second was successful. They tried a third round for a second but it failed too.

Successful IUI?
