urine strong odor.. ..?

For the past few weeks I've been having a strong urine odor when I pee and low middle back pain so I went to get checked for a uti (thinking I for sure had one) - I did not. I haven't really been eating differently, and now I'm couple days late. Wondering if anyone had this as a sign of pregnancy..? It's an odd one, especially since I had my period last month. DH has been away so if I am pregnant it would've had to happen last cycle..
