MIL / my mother after birth
Ladies... I need your help!! I'm in a bit of a pickle!
In a nutshell, I live about 10 hours drive from family and have only one spare room at my home.
Hubby and I would like to have both our parents there ASAP after / during birth. As soon as I show signs of proper labour, they plan on hopping in the car and coming down (but only staying for a few days MAX as my hubby has 2 weeks parental leave and I think it's important we have bonding time as a threesome).
But... we only have one room. Which set of parents get it? Or do neither get it because it's not fair for one to stay and not the other?! They would then have to get an air BnB or something nearby...
Also... back story... at Christmas my parents got the room, while his parents got accommodation elsewhere. Primarily due to the fact that there were 5 of this family coming down and we couldn't accommodate them all together... but now hubby thinks his parents should get first dibs on the room!
Any other creative ideas?! Or thoughts?! I am going round in circles here!!
