Help with lube?

So me and my boyfriend have been having more sex lately and the condom has been getting dry, we were trying some lube I got at Spencer's but even tho some people were saying it was safe SOME said it wasn't. We don't want to take any chances so does anyone know some good lubes that won't make the condom break or anything? I know water based lube is good but does anyone know good brands?
