Why does it hurt to lay on my stomach at 10 weeks?

Ok so for the last few nights that I've been trying to lay on my stomach towards the bottom left it hurts like someone is hitting me. Please give advice

I was a stomach/side sleeper before I got pregnant. After finding out that I was pregnant I still slept in that position. But at times I'd have the same discomfort. It's from ligament stretching and your uterus expanding. It get more uncomfortable the farther along you get.

Try sleeping on your side with a pillow between your legs it may help a little

I am 10w 6d and it started this weekend. I usually sleep like a mountain climber, but have transitioned to sleeping on my side with a pillow between legs and it helps a lot. I also can't lay on my back for very long without slight cramping. I figure it is better to change position now than struggle with it when I am bigger.
