failed induction?

If you aren't due until 20th baby isn't due yet let it happen in it own. Try to relax 

Hey we're due on the same day!! Sadly I been 2cm & 50% efface sense 37wk. I still haven't lost my mucus plug or any contractions. Tomorrow my doctor appt hopefully I hear some good news bc I tried everything from bouncing on yoga ball, evening primrose oil sense I found out I was 2cm,sex, pineapples, spicy food and the one I hated to try the most was castrol oil right at 39w. Nothing helped!! We're kinda in the same boat here. I guess out baby just aren't ready lol. 

My induction took six days (check my profile for my story) but this is very unusual. There are many steps they can try in the process and one of them will likely work for you! Breaking my water finally worked for me. Hopefully you will go into labor on your own and not have to worry, but if you do need to get induced, you can do it!

I just went through a failed induction they started me on cervidil it didn't do anything I was 1 cm when I went in she stripped my membranes it didn't do anything either.. she then broke my water and wait a few hours and still no progress she called it a failed induction after 24 hours and we ended up having a c section. Our little guy is now 3 weeks old.. he was just being stubborn Good Luck 

I was induced on 9th jan and eneded up in c section on 11th jan. I know this is not you want to hear. But each and every body is different. I was not dialated at all when i went to hospital.They used cervidial , cytotec, and pitocin too.. but nothing worked for me. My water broke on its own Even after that i was just stalled at 3 cm and with each contraction baby is going to fetal distress. So my doctor did c section to get the baby out. Let me tell you.. i was scared alot about c section. But my recovery is not as bad as i expected. Its been 1 week since my c section and i am doing great.. Btw i was induced at 40w 1d

I was induced at 41+2 with cervix high and closed. Started with cervadil with a plan to rupture membranes following morning, but went into labour at about 5pm and had baby girl in my arms at 10.22pm. They thought they were going to be struggling to get me dilated enough to rupture my membranes but turns out just needed a little push to get things started 😊

I was induced with my second and being induced tomorrow with my third. How does an induction not work?? I have Hurd if baby isnt ready like no dialation or anything then you might have to end up with c-section but once they break your water when you are being induced your having a baby either way
