Who will be at the hospital when baby comes?

I've been thinking about not telling family when we go into labor so that SO and I can have some personal time with our baby girl before inviting family to the hospital. I also don't want my 4 year old son to come either until after she's born because I don't want him to see me in all that pain. I want to ask my mom to come stay at home with my son until Aubrey is born but I feel like she's going to be sad that I'm asking her to not be there like she was with the birth of my son. Has anyone else choosen to give birth with only SO being there and regretted it later?
