Exercise Advice Please

So previous to Xmas I had been exercising 2-3 times a week including weights nothing too excessive but enough to feel it the next day. I return tomorrow since before Xmas however I'm wondering now that I'm in my fertile week trying to conceive is it safe to do exercise? What do you advise? Thank you in advance  Should say also my periods don't be that regular if that makes a difference
