Pcos?!?!?

I suspect I may have pcos. & I'm confused about how to be diagnosed.. Do I just make a de appointment and tell them what I suspect?? Any ladies w pcos have any advice? Symptoms?

Your Gyne should do all insulin and thyroid related tests. Irregular periods is one of the main reason. Ultrasound reveals if your ovaries are polycystic.

This gives me hope! I believe I may have PCOS and I am so scared. I am not diagnosed yet so I also don't know what to do, should I just call my doctor, only been TTC for 3 months?

U definitely need to get a transvaginal ultrasound - I have PCOS but it didn't show in my bloods so wasted a few months not knowing what was going on until it was confirmed by a gynie on the ultrasound.

The doctor (and I) saw mine on a transvaginal ultrasound. It looked like little black pearls all around my ovaries. It was kinda crazy lookin'! My symptoms were missing my periods for months at a time. I got on Metformin, Clomid, and an Ovidrel Trigger Shot and got a BFP though! Good luck and Baby Dust! Everyone is a bit different. I have it but don't consider myself obese. Irregular periods, acne and the ultrasound showed it.
