Input on IUI please!

Ok so we've been trying for a year and are now considering going to a fertility doctor and getting IUI done. I've been checked and they say everything is great with me. But we think my husband's sperm has low motility.

So our insurance starts next month since he recently changed companies. I dont know if they cover fertility yet. So my question is how much does it cost without insurance? We live in Texas!

Also, how many tries did it take you if you got it done?
