ANYONE HAD TWINS ?

Did u know u were having twins before tests and ultrasounds ?

Noooo. We were so sure there was just one in there. My ultrasound at 8 weeks 3 days showed two, and two heartbeats. I am now 14 1/2 weeks. If you think you're having twins it could be just wishful thinking, so be sure not to set yourself up for a let down if that's what you're hoping. Also, if you're only 4 weeks it's very unlikely that there's anything to see, let alone two anythings. My friend went at 5 weeks 1 day and they couldn't see anything via transvaginal ultrasound.
Also you should know that carrying twins is a high risk pregnancy, so it's not exactly something one should hope for. There are a lot of technicalities while carrying two babies, and a lot more risks involved than if you were just having one. Just hope that your baby is growing strong, and will be happy and healthy when born. Most twin mamas don't make it to full term, so that's something else to consider

The only way to know you are having twins is ultrasound. And I've heard sometimes they hide. I knew at my first appointment at about 8 weeks with my first pregnancy.
