Preggo with scoliosis?

Question

Just wondering if there are any other girls with scoliosis on here :) I have it and have a 60 and 40 degree curve.. Might be nice to know I'm not alone in it!

I have scoliosis! My whole spine is jacked up. When I was pregnant with my daughter it only hurt a little bit, but you can go to a chiropractor still:)! They have people who specialize in popping back of pregnant women!!

I have scoliosis and it didn't affect my pregnancy at all. The only thing it may have affected was the epidural cause it only worked on one side. I had a vaginal birth with only minimal back pain. I don't remember what my curve is but I know its lower in my back.

I have it too, pretty bad S curve but I can't remember my numbers. Had the surgery when I was 11, which was 16 years ago. I've had some back pain and wear a brace if I have to be on my feet for very long. That and regular chiro and massage visits have helped a lot. I'm 32 weeks now. I have to consult with an anesthesiologist soon to see if I'm even eligible for an epi in case I need one, but I'm planning a natural birth.

I have scoliosis but mines is mainly in my shoulders not really my lower spine. But I have a cousin that had it pretty bad when she was pregnant. There is a brace you can where for support. It's flexible not plastic you should consult your Dr.

I have it too. Had a c-section with both my children. Sciatica during both pregnancies and wore a brace during both pregnancies. Had horrible lower back pain.

I have it as well. I wore a corrective nighttime brace for two years when I was in 7th and 8th grade. I believe my curve maxed out at 30 degrees, so clearly it wasn't as bad as yours but the only problem I had was sciatica. I have heard that depending on where your curve is, it can affect the epidural but that wasn't the case for me. Hopefully you'll have an ok pregnancy and labor and it won't be an issue at all!
