trying to get pregnant 🤰 should I see a doctor before hand?

Hi my husband and I are trying for baby number two, our first is 5 now will be 6 in Aug. when we got pregnant with him it was a surprise so we didn't have a doctor then but I'm just curious if I should prepare before hand. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I did it before TTC #1 and they gave me prenatals and all of that fun stuff so I recommend it!

I want baby #2 as well and I also have a 5yr old soon to be 6 on June.. I wanna be pregnant no luck yet! :(

Talking to your doctor would be good, that way they can give you help or advice when needed. I'd go on and start taking prenatals. They're recommended even if you're not pregnant for all the good stuff they have in them for the woman's body.

It's not really mandatory, but I discussed the possibility with my primary care during my annual visit. We went over my med list and when to call if I thought I was pregnant, that kind of thing. I found it useful, but since you already have one you might not, unless you haven't had a checkup in a while.
